This unique four-day experience highlights our region’s breathtaking landscapes, vibrant community, and the majestic birds of prey that make this area their winter home.  Enjoy one or multiple tours throughout the event, offering unforgettable opportunities to explore and connect with the natural and cultural treasures of Carson Valley.

Thursday, February 6 – Opening Reception
Kick off the event with an inspiring evening featuring local photographers, artists, and live birds of prey. Meet the artists, admire their work, and connect with others who share a passion for wildlife and art. Enjoy heavy appetizers provided by Sierra Chef as you take in the stunning artwork and mingle with fellow enthusiasts. Artists will showcase their pieces all weekend long!

Friday, February 7 – Wetland Tour & Falconers’ Dinner
Begin your day exploring Carson Valley’s stunning wetlands on a guided tour that brings you up close to nature. In the evening, join us for the Falconers’ Dinner, where you’ll enjoy a delicious meal and fascinating stories from seasoned falconers.
 
Saturday, February 8 – Ranch and Eagle Tour, Owl Prowl, & Revamped Photo Workshop
Experience the signature Ranch and Eagle Tour, offering an unparalleled view of eagles and other wildlife in their natural habitats on local ranches. Later, enjoy the Owl Prowl, an enchanting exploration of the historic barns and the intriguing lives of owls.
This year’s photo workshop gets a fresh twist! Connect with local photographers, learn from their expertise, and gain practical tips during an engaging and collaborative session. To enhance the experience, Sierra Chef will be providing delicious food, ensuring you stay fueled and inspired throughout the workshop.

Sunday, February 9 – Field Photography Workshop & Highways & Byways Tour
Round out the weekend by choosing between two incredible experiences: the field portion of the photography workshop, where you’ll apply what you’ve learned amid Carson Valley’s picturesque scenery, or the Highways & Byways Tour, a scenic journey highlighting the region’s unique wildlife and hidden gems.
