Award-winning storyteller returns to Dangberg Historic Park
MINDEN, Nev.— Returning for a second year, storyteller Joel ben Izzy will present his newest tales in "Buried Treasures: Stories to Carry You Around the World and Back Again" at the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park on Wednesday, July 29, at 6:30 pm. The event is open to the public and free to attend.
For over thirty years, Joel ben Izzy has traveled the world, gathering and telling stories from many countries. He'll share some wild ones filled with fun and laughter that will carry the audience around the world and back again. Depending on how brave the audience is, he might tell some ghost stories as well. This is not “storytime,” but is instead the art of storytelling performed by one its best tellers, and all ages of children and adults will be entertained.
The park’s storytelling events are sponsored by Bently Enterprises, SoaringNV, Douglas County, the Record Courier, Carson Valley Inn and the Frances C. and William P. Smallwood Foundation.
Joel ben Izzy is an award-winning storyteller and author.
