On Wednesday, August 28, at 6:30pm, please join us at Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park for a special Chautauqua presentation of three notable women in Nevada’s history.
Portraying these notable women are Cindy Southerland as Annie Hudnall Martin, the first woman in charge of the U.S. Assay Office in Carson City. Kim Harris as Lillian Virgin Finnegan, suffragist and originator of the Genoa Candy Dance Festival. DebiLynn Smith as Anna Norgard Harris, pioneer Nevada business owner.
Listen in as these three women interact with one another, sharing their struggles and accomplishments during their life’s journey.
Each historian is an accomplished Chautauquan with a deep regard for Nevada history. Cindy Southerland is a historian and author. Kim Harris is also an historian, tour guide and member of the National Pony Express Association – Nevada Division. DebiLynn Smith is a Civil War era re-enactor and board member of the National Pony Express Association – Nevada Division.
This is a free presentation. Please bring your own seating and no pets allowed – service animals only. However, picnic dinners are encouraged. Bring along your favorite beverage to enjoy, as no bar will be provided.
