DANGBERG BOOK SIGNING AND OPEN HOUSE
Dangberg descendant Steve Achard and his co-author Conrad Buedel have just published their book, "Lost Legacy of Carson Valley: The Rise and Fall of the H. F. Dangberg Ranching Empire." From 4-7 pm on Friday, September 9, the authors will have the book available for sale and personalized signing. It features detailed research into the history of the Dangberg family, with hundreds of historic and recent photographs. A portion of the $29.95 purchase price will be donated to the Friends of the Dangberg Home Ranch.
The historic Dangberg home will be open during the book signing, with volunteers available to answer questions. There is no entrance fee for the open house, so bring your friends and family. The park is located at 1450 Hwy 88, about ½ mile south of the Carson Valley Swim Center.
