Description
The Carson Valley Museum & Culture Center is preparing to transform into a Winter Wonderland. Its annual Holiday Gala will once again fill the museum with gingerbread houses, elaborately decorated Christmas Trees and delicious of cookies. The Gallery of Trees, a part of the museum's annual fundraising activities, consists of exquisitely themed tress decorated by various service groups, clubs and individuals from our area. Now in its tenth year, the Gingerbread House Decorating Contest, helps evoke a memoir of classic American Traditions. Festivities begin 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2 with a Cookie Walk and Selfies with Santa, and will concluded with an open house just in time for guests to enjoy the Parade of Lights.
