Free Spaghetti Lunch for Veterans and Military
on Friday, November 11 at the Carson Valley Inn
 
The Carson Valley Inn is serving a Free Spaghetti Lunch for all Veterans and Active Military – plus one guest – on Veteran's Day, Friday, November 11. The event will be held in the Valley Ballroom from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.   Veterans and active military personnel simply present your military ID for entrance, and lunch for you and your guest is on the Carson Valley Inn!  Don't have your ID? Tell the Inn about your service to our country and they’ll welcome you anyway!
 
This is the sixth year for the Carson Valley Inn's free Veterans Day Spaghetti Lunch which includes fresh tossed salad with choice of ranch, Italian or thousand island dressings; spaghetti with choice of marinara sauce or Bolognese (meat sauce); garlic bread and assorted cookies.  The bond of service to our country brings hundreds of neighbors and community residents to this event each year. Some have not met but do so at this lunch. Others have formed friendships at this event in previous years. All definitely have commonality in their patriotism
 
The Carson Valley Inn (www.carsonvalleyinn.com) is located on US Hwy 395 in Minden, NV near the start of State Hwy 88, twenty minutes from Lake Tahoe's south shore and 45 minutes south of Reno.  The property includes a casino, sports and race book, 149-room hotel, 74-room motor lodge, 59-site RV Park, TJ's Corral Outdoor Concert and Event Center and a convenience store with Shell gas and diesel fuel.  There are also banquet and meeting rooms and services plus three dining facilities; CV Steak, the Inn's Nevada-style steakhouse featuring steaks, seafood, pasta dishes and more; Katie's, for 24- hour dining choices and Job's Perk for coffee drinks, pastries and sundries.
