Description
With the 2013 'regular' Legislative Session closed and one of the shortest 'Special Sessions' in history concluded, how did we do? What actions regarding TRPA, taxes, schools, services, land use and other issues were taken, and more importantly, how will those actions impact Douglas County?
To get the answers, we have invited Douglas County's lobbyists in Carson City, Mary and Steve Walker, for their views on the actions taken and what the impact might be. Join us for a look at the 2013 Session from the inside.
Our Business of the Month is Ironwood Cinemas 8, which recently converted all 8 of their theaters to State of the Art Digital projection, including the newest 3D technology in 2 of their theaters.
