Monthly General Membership Luncheon at Genoa Lakes

OK, maybe not a lot of fun. At this luncheon, we will look at the part of the ballot that gives most people headaches...the dreaded initiatives. What we know will be on the ballot includes an indexed fuel tax surcharge, a sales tax bump for school repair, background checks for private gun purchases and legalized marijuana.

And that's just what we are certain to see...other possibilities include annual legislative sessions, the repeal of the Commerce tax, a minimum wage increase, voter lD requirements and even more...

We will put together some info and you'll leave knowing more about what to expect in November than you did coming in, and even though ignorance is supposed to equal bliss, these decisions have big consequences and knowledge is power.
