Join retired science teacher Carl Gwyn to learn more about the geologic forces that formed the Sierra and Carson Pass. It’s hard to believe The Sierra is a 70 mile wide by 300 mile long piece of granite…how is that possible? We are all curious about it and Carl's strong story telling skills make it fun and easy to understand.
Walks are free but donations appreciated. Dogs on leash ok.
To sign up for this event please call Carson Pass Station. We are open daily from 8-4 M-TH and 8-5 Friday-Sun. Phone 209-258-8606
