Description
Join Douglas County Historical Society for a docent-led tour at the Mottsville Cemetery in Gardnerville. Explore the resting place of pioneers and hear their stories brought to life by Docent guided tours at select grave sites. Experience local history in a unique way as these talented actors portray the lives and legacies of those who shaped our community. Guided tours will take place on Saturday, October 18 beginning at 3:00pm, with the last tour at 5:00pm. Tickets are $10 per adult, or $5 for DCHS members and youths 17 years and under. Children 6 years and under are free. You can purchase tickets at the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center at 1477 US Hwy 395 N in Gardnerville. This is intended to be a family friendly program.
