he Douglas County Historical Society is excited to present their Holiday Gala, complete with Family Day games and activities, a festive Gallery of Trees, and a display of entries for the Annual Gingerbread House Decorating Contest. Come to the Carson Valley Museum and Cultural Center at 10:00am on Saturday, December 6th for festivities, including Santa’s Cookie Shop. Enjoy free admission to the museum! Later in the day, you’re welcome to view the Parade of Lights from the museum’s front lawn.
