The dining room exhibit will include the Haviland Limoges china service, as well as a variety of formal evening wear. Cards and gift wrapping will be displayed in the library. The living room will display toys and a decorated Christmas tree, with decorations though out the house, all of which belonged to the Dangberg family.
Music will be provided by accomplished organist and Friends of Dangberg Home Ranch President, Howard Bennett, on the 1895 organ. Treats and hot cider will be provided. The park’s store will be open, with a selection of jewelry, history books, photo notecards and other gifts.

The Old Genoa Cemetery: A Walking Tour (Book 1) by Karen Dustman and Laurie Hickey
A limited number of copies will be available at the Open House for $19.95. A great gift for Carson Valley history buffs. The park's store offers additional books on local and Nevada history, jewelry and small gifts for children.
In the first of a four-volume series, historians Dustman and Hickey take readers on a journey through the southernmost portion of Genoa Cemetery. Read the stories of William Cradlebaugh, once the owner of Cradlebaugh’s Bridge and veteran of the 1846 Mexican War; Charles Daudel, Genoa’s beloved cobbler; and “Fiddler” Taylor, who played for dances as far away as Silver Mountain (when he wasn’t too drunk to perform); and other characters from Carson Valley history. Numerous illustrations, including photos of the headstones, and an index. Paper cover.
