Craig Wilcox, a licensed insurance agent, presents Medicare 101 at the Douglas County Library in Minden at noon on Monday February 28. Feel free to bring a sack lunch to learn about the different parts of Medicare and how to avoid common mistakes with coverage decisions. 

If you’re approaching 65, you’ll learn how to start with Medicare. If you have Medicare already, you’ll learn about plans that offer extra benefits not available with original Medicare. If you can’t afford your medications, you’ll find out about how to apply for Extra Help. Craig cuts through the complexities of the Medicare program, helping you understand what you need to know to choose the right coverage options for your personal situation. With more than 30 years of health care administrative experience in community and academic medical centers, Craig enjoys educating people about their many choices for health care coverage.
