Scatter’s Attic to raise landscaping funds for Dangberg Historic Park
MINDEN, Nev.— Scatter’s Attic, a sale of donated collectibles and household goods, will take place at the Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park on Saturday and Sunday, May 13-14, 2017, from noon to 4:00pm. The funds earned at the event will support landscaping restoration at the park.
The sale will take place on the park’s east lawn, with a wide selection of collectibles, antiques, and unused and gently used household goods. Entrance is free, with purchases by cash or check only.
The sale is organized by the non-profit Friends of Dangberg Home Ranch, and members of that organization will have exclusive access to the sale the morning of May 13, during the organization’s annual meeting. Non-members will not be admitted until the public sale opens at noon.
More information about the park, membership in the Friends of Dangberg, and a schedule of events in this year’s Dangberg Summer Festival are available at dangberghomeranch.org.
The park is located at 1450 Hwy 88, ¼ mile north of the Carson Valley Veterinary Hospital.

The Park includes eight historic structures built between 1857 and 1917, along with a large collection of artifacts, documents and photographs. Programs include guided tours, concerts, Chautauqua and other public events. The Park is operated by Friends of Dangberg Home Ranch, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, in cooperation with its owner, Douglas County.
