Dennis Edwards was the first new Temptation to enter the group after their “classic five” heyday when he replaced David Ruffin as the lead singer in July of 1968. He is a true legend in the recording industry and The Temptations Review Featuring Dennis Edwards continues to deliver the authentic Motown sound to audiences around the world with their live performances.
With his rougher gospel-hewn vocals, Edwards led the group through its psychedelic, funk and disco periods. He was the lead singer on many of the Temptations hits including the blockbuster “My Girl.” Dennis has received seven Grammy awards, 14 gold records and is a member of the Alabama Hall of Fame.
The other four members of the Temptations review featuring Dennis Edwards are David Sea, Mike Pattillo, Chris Arnold and Paul Williams, Jr. (son of the late Paul Williams, Sr. of The Temptations).
