Todd Morgan and the Emblems in concert at Dangberg Historic Park
MINDEN, Nev.- In the final concert of the 2017 Dangberg Summer Festival, Sacramento area band, Todd Morgan and the Emblems, will bring 50s, 60s and Rockabilly style music to Dangberg Home Ranch Historic Park at 6:30 pm, Thursday, August 31.
Todd Morgan and the Emblems is a young four-piece band, led by singer-songwriter and musician Todd Morgan. The band's music consists of original pop and rock music, along with covers of 50s and 60s Rock-n-Roll and up to present day pop and rock songs. The band has recorded 3 albums, and the current members include Patrick Owen on guitar, Jess Luna on bass and Andrew Phillips on drums.
Todd Morgan is not an Elvis impersonator or "tribute" artist to past rock pioneers. Morgan is a young dynamo of talent and musically organic. He is an artist able to faithfully recreate the genius of such pioneering artists as Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins, as well as Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Ray Charles.
"We are especially excited to end our 2017 Dangberg Summer Festival with this band. Their energy, music and talent is really amazing," said the park's events manager, Kim Harris.
The concert is sponsored by SoaringNV, Douglas County, Carson Valley Accounting, Horsetales Magazine, Allied Sanitation Services, Bently Ranch, Dr. James the Dentist, Carson Valley Times, NV Energy, The Ridge Tahoe Resort, Carson Valley Chamber of Commerce, A.B.E. Printing and Copy Center, Carson Valley Inn, Cowboys Café, Jacobs Berry Farm, Nevada State Bank and the Frances C. and William P. Smallwood Foundation.
