Telco & MSP Sales Manager

Overview: 

DTS Fiber is a fast-growing regional Internet Service Provider (ISP) delivering enterprise-grade fiber, managed IT services, and residential broadband to communities across Northern Nevada and Northern California. We are seeking a driven and experienced Telco & MSP Sales Manager to lead our sales efforts across enterprise, SMB, and residential segments, including MDU deployments, and coordinate with marketing and operations to increase ARPU, engage local communities, and expand our customer base. 

Key Responsibilities: 
Sales Strategy & Leadership 

  • Lead the sales team across enterprise fiber, SMB, and residential segments. 
  • Define and execute go-to-market strategies for new builds, MDUs, and service launches. 
  • Set and track sales targets by market segment and product line (Fiber, Voice, Managed IT, etc.). 
  • Develop pricing models and packages aimed at increasing Average Revenue Per User (ARPU). 
  • Provide coaching, training, and accountability for inside and outside sales reps. 
Customer & Market Development 
  • Identify new revenue opportunities in MDUs, home user clusters, and underserved business corridors. 
  • Build relationships with property managers, developers, and commercial real estate stakeholders. 
  • Collaborate with technical teams to evaluate feasibility and ROI of new serviceable locations. 
  • Coordinate with the marketing team on local event presence, door-to-door outreach, and promotional campaigns. 
Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration 
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates in CRM. 
  • Work with finance and operations to refine ARPU metrics and churn reduction strategies. 
  • Coordinate with provisioning teams to ensure smooth handoff from sales to install. 
  • Engage with customer support to track satisfaction trends and upsell opportunities. 
Community & Event Engagement 
  • Represent the company at local events, chambers of commerce, and tech expos. 
  • Support local sponsorships and community outreach to grow brand awareness. 
  • Serve as the voice of the customer in internal planning and product development. 
Qualifications/Requirements: 
  • 5+ years in sales or sales leadership in telecom, MSP, or fiber broadband. 
  • Experience selling to both enterprise accounts and SMBs; residential knowledge a plus. 
  • Understanding of ARPU, CAC, churn, and other ISP key metrics. 
  • Proven success working with MDUs, new developments, and community anchor institutions. 
  • Experience with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), GIS mapping tools, and customer quoting platforms. 
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; comfortable leading both strategy and field sales. 
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
Preferred: 
  • Background in managed services, VoIP, or cloud solutions is highly desirable. 
  • Local market knowledge or community ties in Douglas County, Carson City, and Washoe County is a bonus.
